Is That In the Bible? Examining Some Commonly Held Beliefs
At times we can all develop beliefs that might or might not come from Scripture. Maybe we’ve been shaped by tradition or culture or even wrong teaching. But as Christians we want to make sure that our beliefs are correct, and the only way to know for sure is if those beliefs actually come from the Bible.

“Is That in the Bible?” Is a new sermon series examining some commonly held beliefs to determine if they line up with Scripture. Many of these ideas contain some degree of truth, but some of them are the exact opposite of what the Bible teaches. We’ll examine these and other such commonly held beliefs. So join us for morning worship on Sundays at 10:30, as Pastor Mike answers the question, “Is that in the Bible?”

Spiritual Formation Class

Wednesdays | 6:30-7:30 p.m. | Music Suite

Who We Are

Central is a multi-generational church full of imperfect people who love Jesus and each other. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, Jesus is the sovereign ruler over all creation, and the Gospel is Good News for everyone. Our mission is to make disciples who know and follow Jesus, and our worship is God-centered, Christ-exalting, and biblically grounded. If you are looking for an authentic community of faith that strives to love God and people with truth and grace, we hope you will pray about becoming part of our family.

Knowing God

As you can see, Central has a lot to offer. The most important thing we can give you, however, is the Gospel. Simply, the Gospel is the Good News of who Jesus is and what He has done to bring us into a relationship with God. To know what we mean, think of the following four main themes of the Bible:
