Mens’ Discipleship Study: “The Pursuit”
Wednesdays | 6:30 p.m. | Room 309 Introducing The Pursuit: A 40-week, video-driven discipleship study designed to empower men to become who God has created them to be. Each video features the teaching of Rick Burgess, best-selling author and co-host of the nationally-syndicated radio show, The Rick and Bubba Show. The Pursuit challenges men to model their lives and their manhood after Jesus. Men, the goal is simple: if we are to become who God intends us to be, we must pattern our lives after the example set by God when He became a man. This study will equip men with five-week studies on eight different characteristics modeled by Christ: Identity Integrity Purpose Surrender Passion Commitment Compassion Join our men of Central for this study, in room 309 at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays..
Christmas in July Shoebox Collection
During the month of July, the Shoebox Sisters will be collecting filled shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. This starts Sunday, July 6th. Pick up a brochure and a box to fill for a boy or a girl from a table at any of the foyers located throughout the church building. Please include a $10 payment in either cash or check for each box to cover shipping costs. Boxes and payment can be dropped off with the church office during normal business hours or during designated drop off times. Call the main office at (903) 586-2215 for details.
