I'm New

We know visiting a new church can feel overwhelming. We’re here to help.

Welcome to Central — We’re Glad You’re Here.

WELCOME TO CENTRAL

What can I expect on my first visit?

When you come to Central Baptist Church, you can expect a warm, energetic, and Christ-centered environment for your whole family. From the moment you arrive, our First Look Team will greet you with a smile and help guide you wherever you need to go—just look for the friendly name tags that say “Ask Me!” Right outside the Worship Center, you’ll find our Welcome Desk, where you can learn about Sunday School classes, pick up children’s materials or quiet bags, grab a weekly calendar, and receive a visitor card so we can follow up and hear about your experience.

During the service, you’ll hear clear, biblical preaching that explains Scripture in its original context and connects its truth to everyday life. Our worship team leads with dynamic, engaging music in a variety of styles, all designed to help your entire family connect with the Lord and respond in worship.

What should I wear?

Wear what you feel is comfortable and appropriate. Some people wear jeans and a t-shirt, while others come in “business casual” attire. We are more concerned about your heart and your needs than we are about your clothing. So dress casually and modestly, and you’ll fit right in.

Where do I take my children?

From birth through fifth grade, you will discover first-class programs for your children that fuse together learning and care with fun. Our Preschool Ministry offers trained teachers, a secure environment, and programming specific to each life stage of a preschooler. The preschool hall is located on the back western side of our campus.
First through fifth graders will find the vibrant Children’s Ministry a place to meet friends and encounter Jesus.

Where should I park?

If you are a first-time guest, we’ve reserved some of the best parking right in front of our Worship Center and off the side of the main office just for you. Look for any sign that says “Guest Parking”. If you are a senior adult who needs closer access to our building, you can also park in any spot marked “Senior Adult Parking”.
We also have parking available for single parents and expectant mothers located in the back parking lot near our Preschool Hallway and Children’s Hall. Look for signs marked “Reserved for Expecting and “Solo” Parents“.
