Activities for Everyone
Our members range in age from birth to folks in their 80s, 90s, and sometimes beyond, and we provide a wide variety of things to do for each age group.
Our children’s team cares for your children in a loving, safe environment, providing a fun atmosphere in which to learn about the Lord. From babies to young children, we have events and activities to keep them entertained while building an important foundation in faith.
Our older kids, in kindergarten and up, have special Bible study classes on Sundays, GAs and RAs on Wednesdays, our GLOW choirs, and other activities, like Vacation Bible School, to give them a chance to have fun, learn about God’s grace, and make friends with other children their age.
Our youth form an exciting, dynamic group that meets in our youth center, called The Fishin’ Hole, for Bible studies and activities throughout the year. Other special events, like Disciple Now and mission opportunities, allow your growing child to learn about growing in the Lord, too, while providing them with unique service opportunities.
College students form a special group in our congregation, finding other students who share the same goals as themselves – to further their educational goals in life while finding a home away from home in our congregation, knowing they can form bonds that will last a lifetime.
The single adults of Central have monthly dinners, Bible studies, and regular entertainment outings for all ages. They also serve in our community and beyond through special missionary projects and trips. This group gives unmarried adults the opportunity to find their Single Purpose in serving God.
Married adults are provided opportunities to gather for Bible studies, classes, date nights with childcare provided, and places to serve others inside and outside our church. We give married couples the chance to relax and rejuvenate from the business of life and family, but still find opportunities to serve the Lord by serving others.
Our older adults use the motto “Living Long and Loving It” to celebrate their place in life. From weekly exercise, ceramics classes, and lunches, to monthly fellowships, special programs and day trips, our senior adults have opportunities to meet their needs spiritually, physically, mentally and socially.
